Application Process

How to Apply

We’re delighted you’re considering Ikon!

Applying to study at Ikon is straightforward. Depending on whether you’re a domestic or international student,
the application procedure may vary slightly.  Just follow the step-by-step guide below for your course.

Spaces in our courses are given based on when applications are received, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible to secure your spot.
If a course has reached its capacity, you can request to be placed on a waitlist.

Step 1: Check if you’re eligible
Before you start the application process, check that you meet the entry requirements for the course/s that you’re interested in. This includes:
– Meeting the admission criteria relevant to your circumstances.
– Fulfilling any specific admission criteria for your selected course.
– Being at least 18 years old when the course commences.

Select the admission pathway that is most relevant to your academic background. If you need help to choose the best pathway for you, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Step 3: Submit your application

Complete the online application and provide all necessary supporting documents.
Step 4: Await confirmation of your application
Upon submitting your application, you’ll receive an email confirming its receipt.
Step 5: Application Review

Step 5: Application Review

After receiving and processing your application, we aim to provide an outcome within 24 hours. You will receive a Letter of Offer outlining your chosen course(s), tuition fees, and our terms and conditions. Depending on your application details, this may be a full offer or a conditional one that requests further documentation.
Step 6: Accept Your Offer

If you’re happy with everything, accept your offer and proceed with any payments outlined in your offer letter.

Domestic Students

International Students

You are a domestic student if you are: 

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen (including dual citizens)
  • a permanent resident of Australia
  • a holder of a permanent Australian humanitarian visa
  • a holder of any visa that is NOT a Student Visa (subclass 500).
