Scholarships
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Ikon is offering a financial scholarship to new international students that commence a Human Services course at Ikon in calendar 2026.
Applicable tuition fees for any Counselling and Psychotherapy course will be reduced by 30% for the duration of the course.
Applicable tuition fees for any Community Services and Social Work course will be reduced by 20% for the duration of the course.
Eligibility & Fees
Only applicable to international students on a subclass 500 student visa.
Student must be accepted into and commence an applicable course in 2025 or 2026.

Alumni Scholarship
Ikon is offering a financial scholarship to our student alumni looking to commence any Ikon course in 2026.
Applicable tuition fees will be reduced by 20% for the duration of the course.

- Student must have previously completed a course with Ikon Institute of Australia or Australian Learning Group (course must be at least 12 months of study duration)

Early Childhood Education Scholarships
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Ikon is offering a financial scholarship to new international students that commence an Early Childhood Education course at Ikon in calendar year 2025 or 2026.
Applicable tuition fees will be reduced by up to 25% for the duration of the course.

Regional Diversity Scholarships
SELECTED INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Ikon is offering a financial scholarship to new international students from the Greater China, Latin American, European, Middle Eastern and African regions commencing any Bachelor course with Ikon in 2026.
Applicable tuition fees for any Counselling and Psychotherapy course will be reduced by 35% for the duration of the course.
Applicable tuition fees for any Early Childhood Education, Community Services and Social Work course will be reduced by 25-30% for the duration of the course.

Onshore Access Scholarship
SELECTED INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
This scholarship is designed to support genuine students seeking to transfer to Ikon to complete their chosen course of study.
The Onshore Access Scholarship is available to international students who have commenced a course in Australia with another provider and wish to change to a course offered by Ikon before completing their principal course with their current provider.
Eligible students may apply to receive a reduction of up to 20% of their tuition fees with Ikon for the duration of their course.
Ikon offers a number of scholarships. If you are not eligible for the Onshore Access Scholarship, you may be eligible for other scholarships offered by Ikon.
Eligibility & Important Information
Who can apply?
- Genuine international students currently studying in Australia on a valid student visa who are seeking to transfer to Ikon prior to completing their principal course.
- Students must have completed the first six months of their principal course, in accordance with the National Code requirements that students complete this period before transferring providers.
. - Students can apply either directly or via an education agent.
How to apply?
- As part of the application process, you will need to submit a Statement of Intent outlining your reasons for changing providers, your reasons for wishing to study at Ikon, and any merit or equity considerations you would like Ikon to take into account, together with confirmation that your decision to transfer is based on genuine academic, personal, or career reasons and not primarily motivated by the scholarship or fee reduction offered.
How is the scholarship awarded?
The Onshore Access Scholarship is awarded based on the strength of your application and Statement of Intent and any merit or equity considerations you would like Ikon to take into account.
- Merit considerations can include academic and non-academic criteria. Academic criteria could include academic performance in your principal course to date, and non-academic criteria could include relevant work experience, a portfolio, professional reference or written statement that supports the career outcome of the Ikon course applied for.
- Equity considerations may include financial hardship, disability, refugee or humanitarian background, primary carer responsibilities, or residence in a recognised regional, rural, or remote area prior to commencing study in Australia.
- Scholarship amounts are determined with reference to the above criteria.
Important information
- This scholarship is available to onshore international students only. If you are not eligible for the Onshore Access Scholarship, you may be eligible for other scholarships offered by Ikon.
- Scholarship amounts awarded will vary depending on your application, Statement of Intent and assessment of any merit and equity considerations, up to a maximum of a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course.
- The scholarship is not cumulative with other scholarship offers.
- The determination of scholarship recipient(s) and scholarship amounts is at Ikon’s sole discretion, applying the criteria above.
- Students can apply either directly or via an education agent. Whether you apply directly or through an agent has no bearing on your scholarship outcome.
- Ikon does not pay education agents any commission, fee, or other incentive for referring or facilitating onshore student transfers, including under this scholarship.
- If your circumstances change at any time from when you submit your application for the scholarship, you must promptly notify Ikon in writing.
- Ikon reserves the right to withdraw, terminate and/or vary the scholarship for any change in your circumstances.
